Ropz CS: GO Crosshair and viewmodel settings

Ropz joined FaZe Clan in January 2022. The youngster has had a successful career so far, but is ready to take on the best teams in the world on the biggest stages.

At the turn of the new year, FaZe Clan signed Ropz to its roster. Ropz is an integral part of FaZe Clan and has helped them reach the PGL Antwerp CS: GO Major playoffs. The 22-year-old player is well-known for his accuracy and ability to take multiple frags, opening up the round for his team. Here are Ropz’s CS: GO crosshair settings and viewmodel settings.

What are Ropz’s crosshair settings?

The crosshair is the most important aspect of the game that you see on your screen. Even if you are extremely skilled and have the best aim, the crosshair will impact your points on the scoreboard. A comfortable crosshair can ensure you get the first bullet precisely and stay alive for longer.

The crosshair is a matter of preference. Different players have different crosshairs and it all depends on what you feel the most comfortable on. Here are Ropz’s crosshair settings.

  • cl_crosshairalpha 255
  • cl_crosshaircolor 1
  • cl_crosshairdot 0
  • cl_crosshairgap -3
  • cl_crosshairsize 2
  • cl_crosshairstyle 4
  • cl_crosshairusealpha 1
  • cl_crosshairthickness 0
  • cl_crosshair_drawoutline 0

Ropz uses the green crosshair  with a gap of -3. The crosshair is not too big with a size of 2. Overall this is a crosshair that many players would feel comfortable on.

What is Ropz’s viewmodel settings?

  • viewmodel_fov 68
  • viewmodel_offset_x 2.5
  • viewmodel_offset_y 0
  • viewmodel_offset_z -1.5
  • viewmodel_presetpos 3
  • cl_viewmodel_shift_left_amt 0.5
  • cl_viewmodel_shift_right_amt 0.25
  • viewmodel_recoil 0; cl_righthand 1

The viewmodel determines the size of the weapon that you see on your screen. For many players, the size can have an impact on their ability to spot an enemy one second earlier. Having a smaller viewmodel can often help in professional games as players will be able to see more on their screen.

  • viewmodel_fov 68
  • viewmodel_offset_x 2.5
  • viewmodel_offset_y 0
  • viewmodel_offset_z -1.5
  • viewmodel_presetpos 3
  • cl_viewmodel_shift_left_amt 1.5
  • cl_viewmodel_shift_right_amt 0.75
  • viewmodel_recoil 0; cl_righthand 1

Ropz’s Bob settings

The weapon bounces up and down as you run across the map. The BOB settings control the amount of vertical movement when you move around on the map. The movement can be quite distracting while playing the game and with the correct settings you can ensure that you have a control on the BOB settings.

  • cl_bob_lower_amt 5
  • cl_bobamt_lat 0.1
  • cl_bobamt_vert 0.1
  • cl_bobcycle 0.98

Ropz is already one of the best players in the CS: GO scene and maybe copying some aspects of Ropz's crosshair and viewmodel settings can set the stage for you to perform even better.
