Robot Cup 2023

The Roobet Cup marks its return this year after a successful edition in 2022. This year’s tournament will feature a $250,000 prize pool similar to last year. The event will take place online

The tournament will see sixteen of the best CS:GO teams in action including the likes of the following:

  • Ninjas in Pyjamas
  • BIG (2022 Roobet Cup Winners)
  • FURIA
  • Astralis

“Roobet invests in players at every level, from pro teams to casual, because we want to give everyone the opportunity to have successful careers doing what they love. Roobet met playing games, and we get excited every time we find a new way to give back to the online community.”

Anthony Brennan, Roobet Co-Founder and Head of Partnerships.

The sixteen teams will form four groups of four teams each. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs. Each team receives at least two opportunities to prove itself, failing which they are eliminated from the event.

The playoffs themselves will be a single-elimination knockout format. The majority stake of the tournament will go to the first-placed team.

The first Roobet Cup took place over nine days in June 2022. BIG won that event after a 2-1 victory over FaZe Clan in the Grand finals. With that victory BIG won $150,000 of the $250,000 prize pool. Earlier this month, Roobet also announced Roobet Arena, where amateur gamers can compete in CS:GO events for cash prizes. With over $10,000 in cash prizes given out monthly, these workshop maps are an excellent way for players to sharpen their skills.
