Red Bull partners with BLAST for CS: GO Red Bull Flick Invitational

The best amatuer duos from across the globe will compete with a chance to play against the best in the world.

Early today, Red Bull and tournament organizer BLAST announced a partnership for their upcoming event. BLAST will be supporting the finale for Red Bulls Flick Invitational, a 2v2 CS:GO event that will take place in Helsinki. The LAN taking place in Finland will be the culmination of the 2021 season. This pro-am event will allow the best amateur pairs to showcase their skills in front of a live audience.

Red Bull partnering up with BLAST is a no-brainer. BLAST has been one of the leading esports tournament organizers for many years, hosting events predominantly in CS: GO while also in Valorant and Dota 2. BLAST will be onsite to provide its support and expertise as the official broadcasting partner for the Red Bull Flick Invitational.

What is Red Bull Flick?

The Red Bull Flick is an alternative 2v2 tournament from the traditional five versus five. This tournament is strictly for amateur players running from the start of April. Some of the best amateur duos in the world have been battling it out across the year. Players fortunate enough to be at this event will get the chance to battle against top CS: GO professionals at the Red Bull Flick Invitational

Red Bull Flick Invitational To Feature Six Professional Teams

The Red Bull Flick was first introduced in Turkey in 2019 and was expanded upon globally throughout 2020 and 2021. This unique tournament also has custom-made maps specifically for the 2v2 circuit. In total there are eight maps, five for the season and three specifically made for the playoffs.

Red Bull Flick's closed qualifier will see amateur teams compete against each other with the shot at playing against professionals. At the end of the qualifier, eight teams will remain and play against six professional CS: GO teams.

  • Furia (Yuri "yuurih" Santos & Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato)

This CS: GO tournament kicks off on November 21 at the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre.
