Another CSGO player is considering a move to VALORANT. Will he switch to VALORANT or will he stay in CSGO?
One of the biggest names in Counter-Strike Global Offensive, Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer Gustafsson might quit Counter-Strike Global Offensive. The former FaZe Clan player is contemplating a move to VALORANT according to a report by Krystian Terpiński for Weszlo. Olof stepped down from FaZe Clan in February 2021 and has been inactive since.
Is Olofmeister moving to VALORANT?
Fnatic is reportedly trialing Olofmeister for its VALORANT team along with several other Polish players.
Olofmeister is one of the best FPS players in the world and played a crucial part in Fnatic’s dream run in the early days of CS: GO. Notorious for the Olofboost, Gustafsson’s aggressive playstyle and pinpoint accuracy made him a formidable force in Counter-Strike. According to neL, the player has not yet decided his future course of action. However, he has been planning a potential move to VALORANT for close to a year.
In an interview with Russian esports website, Cybersport.ru, Marcelo "coldzera" David said Olofmeister was considering CS:GO retirement.

Fnatic entered the VALORANT scene by signing the SUMN FC roster. The team failed to impress with two last-place finishes in the VCT 2021: Europe Stage 1 Challengers 2 & 3. Fnatic benched Kostas "tsack" Theodoropoulos and Muhammad "Moe40" Hariff following the string of poor results.

Olofmeister is a Counter-Strike legend and has two CS:GO Major victories to his name. He recently went inactive in February 2021 sparking rumors of retirement and a potential move to VALORANT.
The VCT 2021: Europe Stage 2 Challengers 2 open qualifiers will start on April 10th and run for three days.
