Will Navi win another LAN event with sdy?
The BLAST Premier Spring Finals champions, Navi have confirmed sdy’s presence for IEM Cologne. The 25-year-old player was instrumental in Navi’s success, including their 2-0 victory over Vitality in the Grand finals.
During the BLAST event, Navi had said sdy would get an opportunity to continue with NAVI depending on his performance at the LAN event. The youngster put up a commendable performance, with the team’s star, S1mple, saying in an interview he hopes sdy would continue with the team at Cologne.
With a 1.02 rating at the BLAST Premier Spring Finals, sdy was able to match the best players in the world. Over 12 maps through the event, sdy maintained a +11 Kill-Death ratio, surpassing several well-known names.
However, it was his ability to integrate with the Navi roster that saw him being given another opportunity
This announcement gives Navi an opportunity to assess the player over one more offline event and possibly explore their options into the offseason.

IEM Cologne features 24 of the best CS: GO teams from across the world, competing in an offline event. The tournament, often called the Cathedral of Counterstrike will see 16 teams start off in the Play-in event. Only eight will qualify to the Group stage, where they will compete for a slot in the playoffs.
Navi come into this tournament as the favorite, having just won the BLAST Premier Spring Finals with sdy. However, they will face tough competition from a resurgent Vitality roster who reached their first Grand Finals in over six months of existence.
