Two players fill the void left behind by FalleN and Chelo.

Imperial Esports has added two new players, HEN1 and felps, to its CS:GO roster ahead of IEM Cologne 2023. The two new signings mean there is a change in leadership within the Brazilian roster.

Imperial esports has added João "felps" Vasconcellos and Henrique "HEN1" Teles to its CS:GO roster. Both players were transferred from other South American teams. Felps joins Imperial from Fluxo while HEN1 was formerly on MIBR. They fill the void left behind by Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and Marcelo "chelo" Cespedes who joined FURIA earlier this week.

What’s the leadership situation at Imperial?

With FalleN no longer on the roster, the bigger question for Imperial fans was the team’s leadership. One of the most iconic leaders both in-game as well as outside, FalleN was an easy choice for the team’s leadership role. But with his departure, Imperial is left with a void both in terms of leadership as well as firepower.

Vinicius "VINI" Figueiredo will be taking on the leadership position on the team, coach Rafael "zakk" Fernandes revealed.

Imperial Esports will next compete at IEM Cologne 2023. The event is one of the iconic events in the CS:GO calendar year and this year will be the final opportunity for teams to stamp their name as one of the winners.

According to Dust2.com/br, the team will also attend a ten-day boot camp before the start of the tournament. This ten-day event should, hopefully, help the team find its synergy before the LAN event in Cologne in August.
