24 of the biggest talent in CSGO will be part of the broadcast team for the upcoming Major.

The talent list for IEM Rio has been unveiled, featuring some of the biggest names in the world of CS. The 33-Member Broadcast team will be bringing us all the action from the first ever Brazilian Major. The event will award the second highest major prize pool at $1,250,000 and will kick off with the Challengers stage on October 31.

Machine Returns

Starting off with the Desk Hosts we see familiar faces from recent events return to the big stage. ESL desk staple Tres "stunna" Saranthus and BLAST regular Freya Spiers will be take up desk duties alongside Pala Gilroy Sen and Jasmine "Veracity" Kanuga.

The eight-man casting crew is headlined by the return of Alex "Machine" Richardson, who will be reuniting with Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill after being notably absent from EPL Season 16 and IEM RtR RMR. Alongside the headlining duo, Scrawny-Launders, Sadokist-Moses, Harry-Hugo will be the other duos in attendance.

Over on the analytical side, ESL have brought together the best of the best from across all CS events this year. Janko "YNk" Paunović, Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez, and Alex "Mauisnake" Ellenberg highlight that list, with the latter two returning to the majors after PGL Antwerp earlier in May. Notably they are joined by Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu, who will be present for the major in his home country despite no longer being a member of Imperial.

Back to Back Majors for Sjokz

Rounding out the list we have the sideline reporters James Banks, Anastasija "Heccu" Tolmačeva, and Eefje "sjokz" Depoortere. Sjokz, who is a staple of the League of Legends LEC broadcast has featured on the desks of some of the biggest events in CSGO this year, including the previous Major in Belgium.

Finally the team of Observers will feature regulars like Rushly, Jak3y and MC. Notably the B stream team includes Heather "sapphiRe" Garozzo, who's last S-tier CSGO event came back in 2019.
