G2 Complete their CS:GO roster with AleksiB signing. The deal sees Nexa being traded over to OG while the Finnish Leader joins G2.
G2 Sign Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen and Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam to complete their 2022 CS:GO roster. The Finnish leader moves to G2 as part of a trade deal for Nexa. Nexa will be taking over the reins at OG while Aleksib will try to break G2's 4-year trophy silence. He will be backed by the former Vitality coach XTQZZZ.
With AleksiB and Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov, G2 have upgraded the two roles they were missing out on. With a renowned tactician like Aleksib and a young mechanically gifted AWPer like m0NESY coming in, the team is ready to compete with the improved 2022 circuit of teams.
Recently recognized as the 3rd best player of 2021 in the HLTV Top 20, Nikola "NiKo" Kovač is the superstar for G2. He will be by far the best player Aleksib has had in his teams so far. Alongside the prodigal talent of NiKo, the team also includes his cousin Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač as part of the rifle duo. The last remaining member of the French G2, Audric "JACKZ" Jug will be one of the supportive pieces. But whether or not he takes up entry fragging duties in the presence of AleksiB remains to be seen.
XTQZZZ: Can he repeat the ZywOo story?
The biggest X-Factor of this team has to be the 16-year-old talent m0NESY. His potential skill ceiling is insane, but replicating that under pressure on the biggest stages will be a tough task. The player has been hailed as the next Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut. Luckily for him, he will have the man who molded ZywOo standing behind him.
Prior to 2019, XTQZZZ was someone many outside the French scene didn't know much about. But with the rise of Vitality and ZywOo and more importantly the benching of French legend NBK, XTQZZZ made a name for himself as one of the strongest coaches in the game.
In 2020, he went on to mold entry fragger apEX into one of the best In-Game Leaders in the world. Now he is widely regarded as one of the best coaches, up there with Zonic and Blad3. Can he do it again with m0NESY and G2?

Even without m0NESY at full power, they will be one of the strongest teams in the game. If XTQZZZ manages to bring m0NESY up to speed, this team has the potential to finally stop losing finals to NaVi.
