Flashpoint Season 3 will see the likes of Astralis, NiP, Heroic, OG, G2, Mousesports and more compete for a chance to qualify for the Stockholm Major. Here’s all you need to know about the EU RMR event.

Flashpoint Season 3 hosts 16 of the top European CS:GO teams and forms a crucial part of the teams’ chances to qualify for the Stockholm Major. As an RMR event, this event is one of the most important teams for European CS:GO teams. Here’s everything you need to know about the tournament including participants, prize pool and schedule.

We think that Flashpoint 3 will offer fans a thrilling kick-off to the Major cycle and give brands significant exposure to the CSGO audience.”

Which teams are playing in Flashpoint Season 3?

There are sixteen teams that are a part of Flashpoint Season 3. The list includes eleven teams from the 2020 RMR Europe event as well as five more from the closed qualifiers. 

The list includes some of the best CS:GO teams. Virtus.pro and Gambit are a part of the CIS RMR event as per Valve’s guidelines.

What is the format for Flashpoint Season 3?

The tournament uses a double-elimination format where each team gets at least two chances to prove its worth. All matches will be best-of-three series and feature the best teams in competition.


Prize pool distribution


Flashpoint Season 3 features a $50,000 prize pool. The best team gets a significant share of the prize pool but there is a decent distribution across the top eight teams.

  • 1st place: $17,000.
  • 2nd place: $10,000.
  • 3rd place: $7,000.
  • 4th place: $5,000.
  • 5th place: $4,000.
  • 6th place: $3,000.
  • 7th place: $2,000.
  • 8th place: $2,000.

Where can you watch the matches live?

All Flashpoint matches will be broadcast live on Twitch. The tournament kicks off on May 10 with the French derby between Team Vitality and Double Poney.
