Evil Geniuses and Team Dignitas make Changes to CSGO Rosters

Dignitas and Evil Geniuses change their roster, but is it enough to improve their ranking?

The CS:GO landscape is changing very fast and teams are always trying to figure out the best combination of players. Recently, Evil Geniuses and Team Dignitas announced changes to their CS:GO rosters. EG added Owen “oBo” Schlatter to its CS:GO roster while Dignitas added Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson.

Dignitas add Lekro

Team Dignitas has added Lekro to its active CS:GO roster, the organization announced on Sunday. Lekro will replace Haris "H4RR3" Hadzic who is no longer a part of the roster. The 27-year-old Swedish player will reunite with Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg on Dignitas. The two players were teammates on the Ninjas in Pyjamas from 2018-20.

Lekro had joined North esports in August 2020 after spending three months on the NiP bench. After North winded operations earlier this year, Lekro was on the lookout for a new CS:GO home. Lekro spent considerable time as an in-game leader. But Team Dignitas coach, Vendetta told HLTV that the player will not take over leadership duties from Adam "friberg" Friberg.

Lekro has been in great form recently with an impressive 1.29 rating over the past three months. With 0.83 kills per round, Lekro’s consistency makes him a valuable addition to the Dignitas roster.

Team Dignitas’ CS:GO roster is as follows:

  • Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg.
  • Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli.
  • Adam "friberg" Friberg.
  • Ludvig "HEAP" Alonso.
  • Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson.

Evil Geniuses Sign oBo

oBo left Complexity in January and has now already found a new home in Evil Geniuses. The 17-year-old player was a part of the Complexity ‘juggernaut’ roster. However, less than a month of being on the roster, the player requested to be benched last year following the homesickness of traveling through Europe.

Evil Geniuses was left without a complete roster after Ethan "Ethan" Arnold quit CS:GO to move to Riot Games’ VALORANT. Ethan is now a part of the 100Thieves VALORANT lineup. Evil Geniuses has completed its North American CS:GO roster. The team will compete in the ESL Pro League Season 12 in Europe. Evil Geniuses is a part of Group D where it will compete alongside the likes of Astralis, Team Liquid, and Virtus Pro.

Evil Geniuses CS:GO roster is as follows:

  • Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte.
  • Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov.
  • Tarik "tarik" Celik.
  • Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz.
  • Owen "oBo" Schlatter.
