NaVi, Vitality, AStralis, NiP, MIBR and many others return to compete for a handful of Fall Finals slots. BLAST Premier Fall Groups kicks off on September 16.

The BLAST Premier Fall Groups is the next event in the CS:GO esports circuit and features some of the biggest names in the game. From the winners of the ESL Pro League to their closest rivals, BLAST Fall groups will see the competition resume at the highest level.  Here’s all you need to know about this tournament, including the teams, prize pool and format.

Which teams will play in the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2021?

The tournament features 12 CS:GO teams from across the globe. The team list includes some of the biggest names in the game and CS:GO fans can expect competitive matches all around.

After their ESL Pro League Season 14 victory, NaVi is one of the favorites to win this tournament. The CIS squad also won the Intel Grand Slam Season 3 pocketing a million dollars for its players.

The BLAST Premier Fall Groups tournament has 12 teams in competition. The teams will compete for a chance to qualify for the BLAST Premier Fall Finals later this year.

What is the format for the BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2021?

The twelve teams form three groups of four teams each. Each group will feature a double-elimination bracket and each team has two chances to make it to the top two. 

The top two teams from each group advance to the Fall Finals. The bottom two teams from each group advance to the Fall Showdown. 

Prize Pool

The tournament has a $150,000 prize pool which is divided amongst the teams as follows:

  • 1st to 3rd place: $25.000 (qualify to Fall Finals)
  • 4-6th place: $12.500 (qualify to Fall Finals)
  • 7-9th place: $7,500 (qualify to Fall Showdown)
  • 10-12th place: $5,000. (qualify to Fall Showdown)

With teams like Astralis, NaVi, NiP and Team Vitality in play, this tournament promises to show CS:GO fans some top-tier action. NaVi are fresh off an ESL Pro League S14 victory, but Vitality were not far behind. In fact, the Grand Finals was one of the most exciting ones in recent history with a series that went the distance of five maps and 30 rounds on the last map. Eventually S1mple and NaVi came out ahead of Zyw0o but the Frenchmen will be looking for revenge.
