XTQZZZ reportedly joining Team Vitality to replace Zonic.

TSM have released Rémy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam from the coaching role on the squad. He is reportedly in talks with Team Vitality but remains a free agent for now.

What’s next for XTQZZZ?

The 34-year-old coach was the principal architect of TSM’s return to Counter-Strike in 2022. Despite having a significant part in the formation of the roster, he couldn’t bring about elite results for TSM in CS:GO.

The announcement does not come as a massive surprise. XTQZZZ had previously alluded to parting ways with the team with assistant coach Lambert "Lambert" Prigent replacing him.

There are reports that Vitality is seeking to bring on XTQZZZ to replace Zonic on the team. This would mark a significant shift for Team Vitality who are are one of the best in the world. Team Vitality won the BLAST.tv Paris CS:GO Major, which was the final Major for Global Offensive.

Vitality is not a new org for XTQZZZ. He was the team’s Head Coach from 2018-2021 before Vitality decided to completely overhaul the team. The addition of Danish players to the squad provided a complete change to the way the players approached the game. And now with XTQZZZ reportedly joining Vitality soon, it would mark a significant shift once again.

TSM’s CS:GO lineup is as follows:

  • Audric "JACKZ" Jug
  • Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså
  • Timofey "interz" Yakushin
  • Cai "CYPHER" Watson
  • Mădălin-Andrei "MoDo" Mirea
  • Lambert "Lambert" Prigent (interim head coach)

Meanwhile, there are rumors of Team Falcons possibly targeting Zonic for the Head coach position. Falcons is building a very strong Counter-Strike team, although they have not confirmed a single signing yet.

The release of Counter-Strike 2 is the perfect opportunity for teams to completely overhaul their rosters. IEM Sydney is the first Tier 1 CS2 tournament and will have the attention of all Counter-Strike fans.
