Astralis and cadiaN won zero rounds on T-side across this series against Vitality.

Vitality demolished Astralis on Sept. 25 at the BLAST Premier Fall Final in Copenhagen, Denmark. They’re in Group B alongside Team Spirit and Team Liquid.

The match between Vitality and Astralis had everything to be fun as the latter was set to debut Casper “cadiaN” Møller as their new captain. He recently replaced Alexander “br0” Bro in the active lineup, which sparked a lot of controversy about BLAST’s emergency substitute rules, and saw all the other IGLs in the tournament sign an open letter. However, Astralis never felt comfortable in the series.

Here’s everything you need to know about how Vitality defeated Astralis at BLAST.

Vitality vs Astralis at BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024: Recap

Inferno

Despite it being Astralis’ map pick, they got absolutely decimated on Inferno. There’s no other way to put it. cadiaN had the worst debut possible as not only Astralis were trounced and lost by 13-0, but they also lost 12 T-side rounds in a row. This was, by the way, the first time dev1ce ever lost a map without winning at least one round.

As for Vitality, it was one of these matches in which every player contributed. ZywOo and flameZ chimed in with more kills than the rest, but it was a true team effort that got them this outstanding win against Astralis on Inferno.

Dust 2

Astralis put up a good fight at the beginning of Dust 2 and gave fans some hope after the Inferno match. Vitality, however, found their groove on the T-side and won the first half by 8-4.

They carried the momentum to the CT-side and sent Astralis packing without conceding a single round. So, cadiaN has led Astralis on 17 T-side rounds and has yet to win one. Hopefully, for the sake of Astralis fans, they’ll show up in better form tomorrow.
