Canadian Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) player Mohan "Launders" Govindasamy has teamed up with sports betting and media company Rivalry for the Launders LAN CS2 esports tournament. This event is the sequel to the FragFest tournament back in January 2024. Read on for all of Launders LAN details.
Launders LAN schedule, prize pool, and location
Happening between April 20 and April 21, Rivalry's event for CS2 esports will feature a $10,000 CAD prize pool. It will also highlight the talents of 32 teams at a 600-person venue. The location of this in-person tournament will be The Warehouse.

According to the tournament page on start.gg, competitors must be 19+ to register for it. Players must also be in the Rivalry Discord so they could check in with the tournament's administrator.
Where to watch and what to expect
In addition to happening in person, Rivalry's Launders LAN event will be livestreamed on Launders' official Twitch channel. According to a press release, both attendees and Rivalry customers will be able to bet on CS2 matches during the tournament. Rivalry also noted that the CS2 esports event will have a myriad of content and on-site activations. These will include Launders-themed merchandise, contests, and more.
Launders LAN builds Canadian CS2 esports
As mentioned, the event will be the sequel to the FragFest tournament. According to Rivalry, the previous event reached over 300,000 impressions on social media and drew in 125 competitors. It also took place at the Red Bull Gaming Studio in Toronto.
“We’re throwing Toronto’s biggest Counter-Strike 2 LAN again, but bigger and better,” Launders said. “The local community has spoken, and we’re upping the ante with more prize money, teams, and venue space for more fans to watch and compete.”
