The Perfect World Shanghai Major Europe RMR A kicks off on Nov. 16, and the Europe RMR starts on Nov. 20.
The upcoming Europe RMR will see 32 CS2 teams fighting for the 14 spots available at the Perfect World Shanghai Major.
As usual, the 32 European teams attending the RMR were split into two Swiss-system tournaments (A and B). In the Swiss format, the teams must win three matches to qualify for the Perfect World Shanghai Major or lose three matches to be eliminated. The exception is for the teams that end up in the tiebreaker as they'll need to win one extra match to qualify for the Major.
The competition starts with best-of-one series to save time, but as soon as teams hit the elimination or advancement scenario, the best-of-three series begins. Seven teams from each Europe RMR will advance to the Major.
If you're a CS2 fan, it's worth following the Perfect World Shanghai Major Europe RMR as lots of good teams such as Natus Vincere, G2, Vitality, Team Spirit, and MOUZ will be fighting for a Major spot.
