Can Coach Ohnepixel take his team to a Major?
Skin aficionado and trader Ohnepixel's team - DRILLAS - have qualified for the Asia RMR for the Shanghai Major. The team made it through to the RMR despite an initial loss to JiJieHao at the same event. The roster led by Volodymyr "Woro2k" Veletnjuk will now be traveling to China to compete for a spot at the Major.

Team coach and owner Ohnepixel was streaming the team's games live on his Twitch channel. Despite covering a minor regional qualifier, because of Ohnepixel's popularity, the streams consistently outperformed even Tier 1 events like the BetBoom Dacha. And in the server, it was his crop of solid players that were doing the work.

Across the event, the Ukrainian duo of Woro2k and Vladyslav "Kvem" Korolj were in incredible form, with 1.45 and 1.31 ratings, respectively. And the rest of the team wasn't far behind, averaging a staggering 1.28 rating across the board. And that's despite facing opposition like Jayson "Kyojin" Nguyen Van in Supferfkrs.

DRILLAS' path to the RMR
Thanks to Salic "Hadji" Imam's dual nationality, DRILLAS were allowed to compete in the Asia circuit for the RMR. Particularly, the team began their journey in the Levantine & North African Open Qualifier. There, the team finished second behind Kyojin and Co., which qualified them for the Closed Qualifier.
In the Closed Qualifier, the team faced off against other teams competing in the Middle East region. That included matches against JiJieHao, NOM, and Supferfkrs. After an initial stumble, the team made the arduous lower bracket run all the way to the finals. In the finals, they faced off against Onyx Ravens, featuring French journeymen Jordan "Python" Munck-Foehrle and Christophe "SIXER" Xia.
Luckily, Woro2k was in top form by this point. After a 13-10 win on Mirage, Ohnepixel's DRILLAS annihilated Onyx Ravens on Ancient, taking a 13-1 win.
Will the DRILLAS make it to the Shanghai Major? If Woro2k can show this form against the likes of TheMongolz, it certainly is possible. Either way, Ohnepixel's stream will make for great content as the team battles through the RMR. Stick around on esports.gg for more CS2 news and updates!
