Game 1: Nuke, paiN’s pick but MOUZ’s game

MOUZ dominated a big chunk of this game, especially in the second half. However, paiN had some really good rounds, powered by their skills and team communication.

MOUZ started great on the CT side. They won the pistols round to gain momentum, and then MOUZ successfully prevented paiN from fixing their economy — at least for a while. The end of this half shifted strongly in favor of paiN, and a lot of that was thanks to their ability to win with limited buys like in Game 7.

Then, it was paiN's turn to be on the CT side, and that did not go well for them. MOUZ secured a few brilliant rounds and reached the game point. PaiN somewhat recovered to postpone their loss, but MOUZ players showed a masterclass of using the Tec-9 against assault rifles and sealed the deal for themselves.

Game 2: Inferno: PaiN win despite the stats and odds

With deeply negative stats on Inferno, paiN entered this game as underdogs and proved everyone wrong.

The Brazilian players started with a few victorious rounds, but MOUZ managed to respond nicely in the first half. It looked like it might end 6-6, but MOUZ secured a seventh round on the T side.

Then the game nearly fell apart for MOUZ. PaiN were relentless on the T side, with every play going their way as they built a strong lead and reached match point. MOUZ began to recover late, but couldn’t complete the comeback.

Game 3: To the Dust!

It was clear how tough this map was for the Brazilian team. MOUZ destroyed their opponents with no chance for recovery! 13-0 is a great statement for the following run at CS2 BLAST Rivals Spring 2025.

“I think we didn’t show our level at all [on the first two maps]. We didn’t really come to the game. We really couldn’t win anything, as it felt like. I’m just happy that we finally woke up, and I’m happy that was the result on Dust 2.”

“Of course, we didn’t want to lose, but [...] MOUZ were heavy favorites, and we had only one day of practice with dgt, so for us [...], 13-0 is kind of hard, but we are not putting too much pressure on us right now."
