The 19-year-old will make his team debut against Vitality later this month.

Following the announcement the organization will be attending the BLAST Premier Fall Groups, M80 have announced a new player signing. M80 have signed Mason "Lake" Sanderson to their Counter-Strike roster.

M80 sign Lake to CS roster

Days after parting ways with Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa, M80 have announced the signing of 19-year-old Mason "Lake" Sanderson. MalbsMd went on to join G2 esports and will be competing at the highest level of Counter-Strike.

Taking his place in the team will be the young prodigy who has shown promising results so far this year. The youngster does not have a lot of experience playing in just two LANs before joining M80. His only two experiences include Fragicago 2023 and Launders LAN 2024. The youngster has an entry fragger role, something that makes him an easy fit for the new org.

MalbsMd was the entry fragger and taking his place on the team will give Lake enough experience playing at this level. Moving up the ranks in terms of opponents, lake will be instrumental in M80’s future.

What is M80’s Counter-Strike roster?

With this move, M80’s Counter-Strike roster is as follows:

  • Ethan "reck" Serrano
  • Michael "Swisher" Schmid
  • Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich
  • Elias "s1n" Stein
  • Mason "Lake" Sanderson
  • Rory "dephh" Jackson (coach)

M80 will next play in the Esports World Cup 2024 where they will face off against Team Vitality in their opening match. The Esports World Cup has a massive prize pool and some of the biggest teams from all over the world. The tournament has a million-dollar prize pool with $400,000 going to the first-place team.
