Jame won’t be PARIVISION’s in-game leader, however.

PARIVISION announced the additions of Dzhami "Jame" Ali, Aleksandr "TRAVIS" Timkiv, and Emil "nota" Moskvitin to its CS2 roster on Jan. 13.

The move sees Jame find a new team to play for in 2025. The 26-year-old had been looking for a new team since parting ways with Virtus.pro after their disastrous campaign at the Shanghai Major in December.

Jame will reunite with the Kazakh rifler Alexey "Qikert" Golubev and the Kazakh head coach Dastan "dastan" Akbayev, with whom he played with in Virtus.pro and most notably won the IEM Rio Major in 2022. To the surprise of many fans, Jame will only serve as PARIVISION's sniper as Qikert is in charge of the in-game leadership duties.

Jame had been Virtus.pro's IGL for many years and even developed a very specific — and sometimes criticized — way of playing the game. It heavily relied on saving weapons in multiple rounds across the game. It appears he now wants to focus on his individual gameplay moving forward.

PARIVISION benches a promising AWPer to make room for Jame

Another aspect that caught the attention of CS2 fans is PARIVISION's decision to remove Artem "ArtFr0st" Kharitonov to make space for Jame on the roster.

Even though Jame has accomplished much more than ArtFr0st in his career, the latter is a promising AWPer who played well in 2024 despite PARIVISION's struggles.

This isn't the first time that ArtFr0st has been benched to make room for a star AWPer, however. Team Spirit also removed him at the end of 2023 to accommodate Dmitriy "sh1ro" Sokolov.

Jame will make his debut for PARIVISION in the online tournament called YaLLa Compass Winter 2025 Contenders. The team will play against Metizport in the first round of the swiss-system stage on January 16.
