Heroic vs Eternal Fire Live Updates

The series saw a closely contested first map followed by a more dominant performance by Heroic on Mirage. Vertigo was Eternal Fire's map of choice and they had a clear game plan going into the series.

Vertigo was a fun map to watch. What initially seemed to be a very one-sided first half, where Heroic blazed through the Eternal Fire defenses, the map turned on its head in the second half.

Eternal Fire won seven straight rounds on the T-side to bring the map within grasp of victory. The map went into overtime and ultimately, Heroic managed to eke out a victory and take a lead in the first map.

Meanwhile, the second map saw Heroic manage a very comfortable runthrough. The team had a rough start, losing the first seven rounds of the map. However, Heroic won every other round on the map to secure a 13-7 victory.

With this win, Heroic are through to the elimination stage - where they will battle it out against some of the stronger teams. Eternal Fire are still not out of the tournament and will have to secure their three wins to move ahead.

HEROIC vs Eternal Fire Preview

Eternal Fire features a Turkish dominant roster that has attempted to break into the top tiers of European Counter-Strike regularly. While the players themselves are extremely talented, the team itself has not been able to break through the upper echelons of European Counter-Strike.

Eternal Fire finished 9-12th at the IEM Katowice 2024. The team qualified through the Play-In stage after a few victories. However, they had some tough opponents when they faced off against NAVI and Faze Clan, two behemoths in Counter-Strike esports. The team’s earlier-than-expected departure from Katowice was something that was not completely unexpected, but they did face off against much stronger opponents en route to their eventual exit from the event.

Heroic has been a team that has been consistently one of the best Counter-Strike teams in Europe. However, the team has had a few roster changes recently. Even though these changes have been around for several months, the team has not been able to come to terms with the changes. So far in 2024, Heroic has played a number of events, but have not been able to reach the same levels of results as before.

The team finished with a 5-8th placement at the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown losing 0-2 to OG. Before that, they placed dead last at BLAST Premier Spring Groups marking a dismal start to the year.

This match between Heroic and Eternal Fire will be an interesting one. While Heroic have not typically been in the best of forms, their opponents have been of significantly higher rankings and better firepower. Eternal Fire has had its own struggles competing against better-equipped opponents and as such it will be interesting to see if they can overcome a not-in-top-form Heroic.
