The dynamic Danish duo have reunited once again.

Gaimin Gladiators announced on Tuesday, July 23 the additions of Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi and Fredrik "roeJ" Røj Christensen to its CS2 lineup.

With these roster changes, nicoodoz will effectively replace Jason "salazar" Salazar as Gaimin Gladiators' dedicated AWPer while roeJ will replace Patrick "patti" Larsen. Although patti was the in-game leader of the squad, it's not roeJ who will take this responsibility this time around. Instead, Magnus "Nodios" Olsen will be Gaimin Gladiators' new IGL, according to HLTV.org.

Nicoodoz and roeJ reunite under Gaimin Gladiators' banner

Nicoodoz and roeJ are no strangers to one another as they previously played together in Copenhagen Flames between May 2021 and June 2022. During that time, they most notably helped Copenhagen Flames to reach the playoffs of the PGL Antwerp CS:GO Major in May 2022, which was one of the best Cinderella runs at Valve-sponsored events.

They would play together once more between June 2022 and July 2023 under Fnatic. However, that team did little other than reach the playoffs of IEM Rio CS:GO Major in November 2022.

The additions of roeJ and nicoodoz should significantly bolster the team's firepower as they have a ton of experience in tier-one, in comparison to their teammates. It's also a good opportunity for them to prove themselves again after not-so-great stints with HEROIC (nicoodoz) and Preasy (roeJ).

Gaimin Gladiators are now:

  • Nicoodoz (AWPer)
  • roeJ (rifler)
  • Nodios (IGL)
  • Jonas "Queenix" Dideriksen (rifler)
  • Tobias "kraghen" Jensen (rifler)
