NOBODY BEATS G2 10 TIMES IN A ROW
The Grand Finals of BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2024 saw G2 take on NAVI in a best-of-five series. While Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen had a poor record in Bo5, he also had never lost to G2 since joining NAVI. So, one way or another, records were going to change. Unfortunately for the Finnish leader, it was G2 lifting the trophy, ending their incredible loss streak.

This began a NAVI streak, tying the score with only m0NESY's AWP in their way. The teams then split the next two rounds, ending at 6-6.

malbsMd shone again, netting two kills for a bonus, with NiKo clutching a 1v2 to deny NAVI's defuse. Despite G2 being under pressure from back-to-back impactful plays by iM and Aleksib, NiKo and m0NESY clinched the win with three stellar B-site rounds.

NAVI started Dust2 strong in the Fall Finals Grand Finals, winning the pistol and securing a 3-0 lead. G2's first gun round was only a minor setback, as NAVI's CT side held firm. G2 finally found momentum when their AWPer secured three frags, earning them back-to-back rounds.
On an eco, jL made his solo M4A1-S work, finding four frags to snatch one more round for NAVI. The teams traded rounds, with NAVI barely keeping their lead. A wild spray from NiKo accidentally took down Snax, but G2 kept the half close at 5-7.

NAVI needed a pistol to win to keep their trophy hopes alive, and the hunter- gave them a chance by failing to get the plant, allowing NAVI to swarm B. With that boost, NAVI's stars began to shine, cutting G2's lead to just two rounds by the time G2 bought rifles again.

Aleksib nearly pulled off a miracle, but it was m0NESY to deny them once more, taking championship point.

As had been the case so often, m0NESY was in a 1v2 to win the match. Lightning quick as always, he sniped one down out of position. And as Aleksib planted the bomb, he knew the jig was up. m0NESY closed out the map 13-7.
G2 are the BLAST Premier Fall Finals Champions
Four long maps and months in the making, G2 has secured the title at the BLAST Premier Fall Finals after a dominant showing against NAVI in the Grand Finals.
