Bad FalleN is back. This time, he’s in Belgrade, Serbia and wants his revenge against 9 Pandas at BetBoom Dacha.
FURIA's captain Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo wants revenge against 9 Pandas at BetBoom Dacha CS2 2024 after losing to them in the debut.
The Brazilian team are alive in the tournament following a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Aurora on Aug. 26 in the play-in. FalleN wants to play 9 Pandas again because their captain Aleksandr "shalfey" Marenov told HLTV that beating FURIA was "not a big win" for them.
This potential matchup will only happen tomorrow if 9 Pandas lose to Eternal Fire later today, and it has everything to be exciting as they'd play for the last playoff spot remaining, and to avoid elimination from BetBoom Dacha.
Read what FalleN had to say about potentially facing 9 Pandas again, and his thoughts on defeating Aurora, and as he gave a post-match interview to esports.gg in Belgrade, Serbia.

Esports.gg: FURIA played better today against Aurora and avoided the elimination from BetBoom Dacha. How's the confidence for the rest of the tournament?
FalleN: "I believe that with this victory today, we start to recover the form that we wanted to be in since the start of the event. Our confidence is a bit higher. It's always good to win. There are some things to improve for the next series, but if we keep at the same level, we have what it takes to reach playoffs."
There was a lot of back-and-forth in this series against Aurora. You lost at least one anti-eco on all three maps, and, to be fair, also won some economic rounds, too. What's happening in these rounds that make FURIA lose them?
"I was trying to play with Dual Berettas and save some money for the next round, with hope that the adversary would save and not demand so much of me, to afford an AWP on the first gun round and start a little bit more strong. That's always a risk, and although we didn't lose every anti-eco only because of this strat, I can modify it a bit to contribute some more. The truth is that these rounds are difficult. We also won some in the same vein. Teams can suffer a bit as the Tec-9 and the Five-Seven are super strong now. But I believe we can play less risky, more tight to diminish the odds of losing these rounds."
I don't know if you saw, but shalfey, 9 Pandas' IGL, said that beating FURIA was "not a big win." Is there something you want to say to him as there's a chance you two play again tomorrow with elimination on the line?
"I can say the same. I already won 11 world championships and now have to play against 9 Pandas and lose. It's really sad because they're not that good — I'm looking forward to play them again."
