The team will compete in the Elisa Masters invitational that starts in a few days.

London-based Fnatic have moved Christopher "dexter" Nong to the bench effective immediately. The org’s roster rebuild has already seen two players leaving the roster before Dexter. Currently, the Fnatic roster only has Krimz and afro on its active roster.

Fnatic bench Dexter

Dexter joined Fnatic earlier this year when he replaced mezii as the team’s IGL. The Australian player was a part of MOUZ before switching over to Fnatic.

However, his time on Fnatic did not yield many positive results. The squad finished last or near to last in almost every event that they participated in.Their last tournament was the Thunderpick World Championship where they finished in the 9-12th place.

The team did not have good results, but even on an individual level, the 29-year-old player could not make a noticeable difference. He averaged a 0.88 rating during his time on Fnatic.

What’s next for Dexter?

In a social media post, Dexter said things were not consistent enough with the roster and they could not produce the results. However, he did leave fans with a cliffhanger promising more news to come soon.

On the bench for now! Things just didn't work how we wanted to, there were glimpses of good CS but just wasn't consistent enough!

Thank you for the time. I will be heading home for christmas to take a break from this crazy year.

The Fnatic CS roster is as follows:

  • Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson
  • Aurélien "afro" Drapier
  • Jamie "keita" Hall (coach)
  • Christopher "dexter" Nong (benched)

Fnatic will compete in the Elisa Masters Expo 2023 which kicks off on November 28. The tournament has a $200,000 prize pool and has eight teams in competition. With only a few days remaining for the event to start, CS fans can expect Fnatic to make a slew of announcements soon.
