FaZe absolutely destroyed Liquid on Mirage.
FaZe Clan have extended their win streak against Team Liquid as they knocked Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken and co. out of BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 on Friday, Sept. 27.
With this clean 2-0 victory at the Forum Copenhagen in Denmark, FaZe are now 5-0 up against Liquid in 2024 thus far. Three of these wins happened after Twistzz took over the in-game leadership in Liquid, so it's fair to say that his ex-teammates know how to play against him.
This victory put FaZe in the BLAST Premier Fall Final semifinals, where a scary Natus Vincere patiently awaits. As for Liquid, they'll likely stay in Europe for a couple more days before flying to Brazil to attend IEM Rio at the beginning of October.

Inferno recap
Although the series started with some back-and-forth, FaZe took control of the match from round five onwards and dominated the T-side despite Justin "jks" Savage's continuously grabbing important kills for Liquid, and even an ace during a retake.
A clean pistol round victory in the second half gave FaZe the money they need to put Liquid's back against the wall, and they took advantage of that. Twistzz and co. only won two rounds on the T-side before FaZe closed out the match with a comfortable margin. Robin "ropz" Kool showed some of his vintage form as he rarely missed an opportunity to frag out.

Mirage recap
Despite Mirage being Liquid's map pick, it was FaZe who controlled the map the entire time. Karrigan's side only lost the first gun round of the first half and then put on a CT-side masterclass, relentlessly shutting down everything that Liquid threw at them. FaZe were so in the zone that ropz got an AWP ace, a weapon he doesn't play much at all.
With such a massive gap (11-1) there weren't much that Liquid could have done to avoid the defeat. Liquid won the first rounds of the second half, but as soon as FaZe had enough money to afford AK-47s, they outclassed Liquid once again and ran away with an incredible 13-3 victory.
What's next for FaZe at BLAST Premier Fall Final?
FaZe are scheduled to play the second semifinal of the day tomorrow, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. CEST against NAVI. Although karrigan is one of the veterans of the scene, he never won at tournament in Copenhagen. This should give him and his teammates some extra motivation to make the grand finals.
While you await for the semifinals this Saturday, check out if you know more Counter-Strike trivia than several pros such as NAVI Valerij "b1t" Vakhovsjkyj and Falcons Emil "Magisk" Reif.
