The Falcons CS roster is finally complete, 6 weeks after coach Zonic was announced as the first piece.
Team Falcons have finally announced their full CS2 roster, however, it's not as formidable a team on paper as the community had been led to expect. The final Falcons roster includes maden, Snappi and SunPayus join from ENCE - granting Falcons an RMR spot at the Copenhagen Major - along with Magisk from Vitality and existing player BOROS.
Rumours had been circling in the CS2 community that Team Falcons were in the process of building a CS2 super team. In fact, Falcon's CEO Mossad "Msdossary" Aldossary confirmed on October 7 that G2's Nikola "NiKo" Kovač was one of the players involved in discussions.
The first official piece of news the CS2 community received came on October 3, when the iconic Counter-Strike coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen confirmed rumours of his move to Saudi Arabian esports organization Team Falcons. Vitality's Head of Performance Lars Robl was also announced as part of what the Falcon's CEO called a "3 year project".
Given zonic's pedigree and track record, the thought of what a Team Falcons CS2 super team might look like sparked interest within the CS2 community.
Team Falcons is a Saudi Arabian esports organization and one of the region's largest organizations. The esports org has a presence in multiple esports titles including Rocket League, PUBG, VALORANT, and more. The organization’s push to become one of the best in Counter-Strike has been long-rumored. Some of the biggest names in the game have been linked to the org, although there have been a few fallouts.
