Eight teams will compete in the ESL Pro League Season 21 Playoffs.
The ESL Pro League Season 21 has some of the world’s top Counter-Strike teams in action. After two very long drawn out group stages, we are now nearing the business end of the event. An event that started out with 24 teams is now down to just eight who will play in the tournament playoffs. Here are the teams that form the ESL Pro League Season 21 Playoffs.
ESL Pro League Season 21 Playoff teams
Here are the teams that have qualified for the ESL Pro League Season 21 playoffs:
- Team Spirit (3-0)
- Team Vitality (3-0)
- MOUZ (3-1)
- NAVI (3-1)
- The MongolZ (3-1)
- G2 (3-2)
- Eternal Fire (3-2)
- Team Liquid (3-2)
Only eight teams will move ahead to the playoffs, where they will compete in a single-elimination format. Each team will have only one opportunity to advance in a best of three series. The winner of the tournament receives the lion’s share of the prize pool at $100,000 with the second best team receiving $50,000.
There were two group stages in the ESL Pro League Season 21 with the first group stage sending its top teams to the second group stage. Both the groups followed the same Swiss System format where each team has to secure three wins to advance. So far, six teams have qualified for the tournament playoffs with three more to join their ranks.

How did the teams fare en route to the playoffs?
Team Vitality topped Group Stage 2 with a clean record including wins over MIBR, MOUZ as well as 3DMAX. The team had a +36 round difference highlighting the team’s dominance in each of their three series. Closely following Team Vitality was none other than Team Spirit. The team had a slightly easier path with wins over TYLOO, SAW and TheMongolZ. The top teams at IEM Katowice 2025 found their slots in the group stage of the ESL Pro League Season 21.
Surprisingly, NAVI had a loss to SAW in their opening match which set them back in the standings. NAVI bounced back with their final win against G2 setting them up with momentum for the playoffs. The playoffs will be an interesting series as NAVI looks set to improve upon their performance. But both Team Vitality and Team Spirit are much ahead of their competitors in form, map pool as well as firepower.
The ESL Pro League Season 21 playoffs kick off on March 13. The playoffs continue for four days and the Grand Finals will take place on March 16. Counter-Strike fans can catch all the action live on Twitch.
