Elisa Masters 2024 announced for October this year

The Elisa Masters Espoo has been announced for October later this year. The tournament will have eight teams and will bring together some big names in Counter-Strike for a LAN Competition. 

Elisa Masters Espoo will run from October 16-20 later this year. The tournament has five days of competition and it is the third edition for the tournament organizers. It will host eight teams who will compete. 

With a $200,000 prize pool, there’s something on offer for the participating teams. Speaking of participating teams, there has been only one confirmed invitation so far - B8 Esports. The team will have seven more competitors. Five of them will come via direct invites. However, there is also an opportunity for upcoming teams to make it to this tournament via the Elisa Invitational Fall as well as the Elisa eSM later this year.

The tournament tickets have already gone on sale as of Wednesday. The tickets cost 19€ for Friday which is a pleasant discount. You can find more information over at elisamasters.com. 

Fnatic and FURIA have won the previous two editions of the tournament. FURIA won last year’s event after a 3-1 victory over Apeks in the Grand Finals. The team took revenge for a 0-2 defeat in the group stage that saw them fall to the second seed coming into the playoffs. The victory gave FURIA esports $100,000 which is what we expect this year’s winner to take home as well.
