CS2 Rostermania 2024: Liquid, G2 kick-off changes

Every year during the player break, fans are treated with a wide variety of rumors and roster moves. With this being CS2's first year, Rostermania 2024 is set to be bigger than ever. Major changes are already in motion, so here's every roster move in 2024's CS2 Rostermania.

Nemanja "nexa" Isaković was the first domino to fall in Rostermania. The player had only been with G2 for over six months, but the team's requirements changed in 2024. When he joined, G2 was a three-star superteam that could challenge anyone in firepower.

But with the move to CS2, nexa was bearing a lot more of the brunt in the fragging department. So now G2 looks to bring in another start to support Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov and Nikola "NiKo" Kovač. With reports linking them to m80's recently released Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa, expect more changes coming to G2.

Across the Atlantic, Team Liquid has taken a roster-defining move. The team has benched their IGL Casper "cadiaN" Møller after an underwhelming season. What's more surprising is that the name being put forward to lead the team is Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken.

The Canadian rifler was a key piece in assembling this roster, but with no prior experience in the role, who knows how it'll turn out? It could be a simple disaster like Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis or Jacky "Stewie2K" Yip's attempts in the past.

Or it could be the start of something brilliant like Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz and Astralis. Let's just hope NA's leaders don't repeat their past mistakes.
