The Counter-Strike PGL Copenhagen Major is in its final stages. Only eight teams remain and they will be in intense competition over the next few days. At stake is the title of being the first-ever CS2 Major winner and a substantial prize pool. Here’s all you need to know about the CS2 Major Playoffs.

Which teams are a part of the CS2 Major Playoffs?

There are eight teams that are a part of the CS2 Major. Someof these teams participated in the opening stage and clawed their way through to the playoffs. Some of the other teams had a direct entry to the elimination stage, but it was still a very competitive stage of th event.

What is the Playoffs format?

As is the case with every CS2 Major, this time also the teams play in a single-elimination format. The single-elimination format leaves no room for error and teams have to put up their best performance over the next few days.

The teams will be playing best-of-three matches. The initial matchups for the Playoffs are determined using the Elimination Stage Rankings. The Playoffs take place over four days starting on March 28 and coming to an end on March 31.
