A rematch of an epic Melbourne grand final awaits us at BLAST Rivals Spring 2025.
The grand final of BLAST Rivals Spring 2025 is here with Falcons taking on Vitality in the latest chapter between the two best teams in Counter-Strike right now.
They went all five maps in Melbourne last week; will we see another six-hour epic here in Denmark? The action kicks off tonight at 4pm CEST — here's how we think the grand final of BLAST Rivals Spring will go down!
Vitality seeks fifth-straight tournament win but Falcons aren't far behind: Preview
Head-to-head: Falcons 2-5 Vitality
Last meeting: Vitality 3-2 (13-2, 12-16, 13-9, 10-13, 22-20) @ IEM Melbourne
Once again the two form teams of the CS2 scene collide in what should be an epic final at BLAST Rivals Spring. If their previous meeting is anything to go by, this will be another must-watch affair as Falcons seek vengeance after Vitality bested them in Melbourne last week.
Vitality's win streak has broken all modern-day records, and while the all-time Counter-Strike record of 60-straight wins is way off, there doesn't appear to be a team capable of stopping the French org right now.
On average Vitality concede less than 10 rounds a map at BLAST Rivals Spring, and if it weren't for MOUZ's map win in the group stage, it would have been a whole lot less. The dynamic duo of Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut and Robin "ropz" Kool continue to post remarkable numbers on the server.

Their individuals aren't all dominating as much as they were in Melbourne, but funnily enough, it was a similar case Down Under where prior to the grand final Vitality's kill spread was so high no one individual stood above all others. That obviously changed after ZywOo turned up the heat in the five-mapper — and we're expecting more of the same tonight.
Rivals Falcons also cruised to the grand final after a comfortable group stage. MOUZ posed much more of a threat this time around but the Saudi-backed org still locked them out on Dust 2. Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov (1.32 rating) and Nikola "NiKo" Kovac (1.26 rating) lead the way but will need to find another gear if they want to end this Vitality reign.
So too will Falcons' other players; we've seen how crucial René "TeSeS" Madsen was in the Falcons loss to Vitality last week, while in-game leader Damjan "kyxsan" Stoilkovski can rock a map or two himself.
Expect an almost identical map pool to the Melbourne final. Vitality should take Inferno with ease given it's been a reliable launching point in series so far this year, so it'll be on the Falcons to respond once again. Whether we get it first or last, Nuke will be a must-see map if you had to pick just one.
But we won't recommend one map — tune in for the whole series if you can as it'll be a banger way to wrap up the weekend in Copenhagen! The action begins 4pm CEST, May 4!
