A $400,000 prize pool is on the line, and 16 teams are competing for their share of it.
BLAST has announced the list of teams that will compete in the BLAST Premier Open in Lisbon later this year. The invited teams will be joined by four other teams that earn their spot through the BLAST Rising program.

Invited teams for BLAST Premier Open Lisbon
Twelve organizations have received an invite to play in the BLAST Premier Open Lisbon event. The invites are based on the teams’ performance and their rankings in the Valve Global Rankings as of February 3, 2025.
Here are the teams that received an invite to BLAST Premier Open Lisbon:
- Spirit
- G2
- The MongolZ
- Vitality
- FaZe
- Natus Vincere
- Eternal Fire
- MOUZ
- Falcons
- Liquid
- FURIA
- Virtus.pro
The list includes some of the best teams in action with Team Spirit leading from the front. The roster that has been at the top of the CS2 scene for some time now has Danil "donk" Kryshkovets, one of the biggest superstars of today. The Player of the Year has been crucial to Team Spirit’s success over the past year.
BLAST Premier Open Lisbon will have 16 teams in attendance. The remaining four teams will be determined based on several teams’ performance through the regional qualifiers. The BLAST Rising tournaments will take place over the next few weeks with one team from four regions joining the list of teams at Lisbon. Here are the four BLAST Rising tournaments that will send one team each to the main event:
- Europe (Feb. 8 to Feb. 9)
- North America (Feb. 13 to Feb. 14)
- South America (Feb. 8 to Feb. 9)
- Asia (Feb. 10 to Feb. 12)
The event will start matches at the BLAST Studios in Copenhagen before ultimately moving to the playoffs that take place in the MEO Arena in Lisbon. The Group matches will be a best-of-three (Bo3) series under a double-elimination format. A total of $400,000 in prize money will be distributed amongst the teams.
This tournament will run for 12 days in March. The event will kick off on March 19, and the Grand Finals will take place on March 30.
