The BLAST Premier Fall Groups is coming up soon and marks the start of the new Counter-Strike season. The new season will feature three BLAST Fall events and culminate with the BLAST World Finals later in the year. The Fall Groups kicks things off in late July and here’s everything you need to know about the BLAST Premier Fall Groups.

What is the tournament format?
The tournament starts with the group stage. In the group stage there are four groups of four teams each. The teams play in a double-elimination format where all matches are best-of-three series.
The winning team from each group advances to the Fall Final. The second place team proceeds to the Play-In Stage.
In the Play-In stage, we have a single-elimination bracket. The stakes are super high as teams have no opportunities to make mistakes. The top two teams from the Play-In Stage move to the Fall Final.
What is the Prize Pool and Results
The tournament has a total prize pool of $190,000. With such a big prize pool, the 1-4th place teams receive $22,500 each. Meanwhile, the 5-6th place receive $12,500, and so on.
