The new season begins!

The BLAST Premier Fall Groups have been announced and we now have the list of teams that will participate in the first event of the new season. Sixteen teams will compete in Copenhagen for a chance to qualify for the Fall Finals later this year.

BLAST Premier Fall Groups

The BLAST Premier Fall Groups kicks off on July 26 and will continue for a few days till the 4th of August. With four different groups each comprising four different teams, the BLAST Premier Fall Groups will bring the best of Counter-Strike for fans to end the Off season.

Many teams have had a roster change in the Offseason. After the BLAST Premier Spring Finals that saw the top teams compete in London, we now move to the Fall Season. The Fall groups has a $190,000 prize pool with teams aiming to qualify for Fall Finals or the Showdown depending on their performance.

Group A

  • Team Spirit
  • OG
  • Complexity
  • HEROIC

The Group A teams feature rosters that have recently undergone a few roster changes. These changes mostly pertain to OG who have added a few rookies that might show up in a huge manner in the BLAST Premier Fall Groups

Group B

  • Vitality
  • GamerLegion
  • Astralis
  • Falcons

Team Vitality are obviously one of the best teams in the world. With big names such as Zywoo, Apex and more, Team Vitality is one of the favorites to go through to the Fall Finals. However, they will have to contend against a resurgent Astralis and Falcons both who want to earn their spot in the next event as well.

Group C

  • FaZe Clan
  • Cloud9
  • G2 esports
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas

Cloud9 made a few changes to their roster, they added HeavyGod, ICY and Interz to their roster. The completely new look roster will have to prove itself on the big stage as they go against some of the best teams in the world. Besides Cloud9, we also have FaZe Clan and G2 esports. G2 who parted ways with nexa adding malbsMd, is a top contender, but what does the roster change mean for the squad? They did not end the season on a bright note, after failing to move forth in the BLAST Premier Spring Finals after a visa processing delay for their star performer.

Group D

  • NAVI
  • BIG
  • Virtus.Pro
  • Liquid

The Final group is Group D, where we have NAVI, Team Liquid, BIG and Virtus.Pro. Team Liquid has had a few changes to its Counter-Strike roster while NAVI will continue with the same roster. The emergent nature of the Team Liquid roster is one that will remain under close scrutiny. Whether they live up to expectations or will fall short depends on the team’s performance in the Fall Groups.

The BLAST Premier Fall Groups kicks off towards the end of July. The tournament has a $190,000 prize pool and comes to an end on August 4, 2024. The top six teams will go through to the Fall Finals. The remaining teams will have to battle it out in the Fall Showdown.
