Stuff the Bronze Coin, you’ve gotta go for Diamond via the Pick’Em Challenge!
The BLAST Austin Major is here, which means it's time to play the Pick'Em Challenge! Purchasing the Viewer Pass for the major gets you the all-important celebratory coin in-game, as well as access to the selection game where you have to predict the results of the major.

How to play the BLAST Austin Major Pick'Em Challenge
To play the Austin Major Pick'Em Challenge, you must buy the Austin Major Viewer Pass. You can buy a Viewer Pass from the CS2 store:
- Open CS2, then from the homepage click the Major Championship Hub & Items to the left.
- Click the "Get Pass Now" button.
- You can select the basic pass, or the upgraded Souvenir Token package with additional Souvenir Tokens.
- Click the green purchase button at the bottom, then follow the prompts through Steam
- Once done, don't forget to click Activate Item!
- If you don't do this immediately, you can head to your inventory and activate the pass later.
You won't be able to participate in the Pick'Em Challenge unless you active your pass, so be sure to do this before making your picks!
Once activated, you'll get the Austin Major Coin which you can equip to your profile and display — but who displays a bronze coin? Surely you'll want to upgrade that to Silver, Gold, or Diamond?

Upgrading your Austin Major Coin: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond
To upgrade the Austin Major Coin, you'll have to succeed in the Pick'Em Challenge. You'll select teams that you think will win in each stage of the Austin Major. If you make at least five correct picks during each stage, you'll earn a point to upgrading your coin.
Each stage of the major consists of a 16-team Swiss bracket. You'll need to pick two teams to go 3-0 undefeated, two teams to go 0-3 winless, and six others that you think will progress 3-1 or 3-2. Simply drag each team's logo into the slot on the page, then hit Save Picks to lock in your selections.
Just filling your Pick'Ems already lands you a point in each stage, meaning by the time the playoffs roll around, you'll have your Gold coin (if you've been right all the way!). From there, you'll need to pick:
- At least 2/4 quarterfinalists;
- At least 1/2 semifinalists, and;
- The overall champion of the Austin Major.
You won't get to change your picks for the playoffs — you must select the results of the bracket before the playoffs begin! It's not easy to get the Diamond coin but competing the Viewer Pass will land you the final upgrade to your coin.
How to use Souvenir Tokens from the Viewer Pass`
Each point you receive in the Pick'Em challenge also gets you a Souvenir Token. Using these tokens gets you a Souvenir Package for a map of your choice from the major, with weapons inside that package covered in gold stickers of each team that played that map.
Once the matches are played, click the match in the Pick'Em Challenge page to redeem your Souvenir Token. You can also purchase additional Souvenir Tokens individually from the shop.
