After nearly two years, the Bad News Eagles finally have found an org to represent.

The Guild have picked up the former Bad News Eagles CS roster, the org announced today. The roster will now play under the name ‘Guild Eagles’. This is the first time Guild has signed a men’s roster in Counter-Strike.

Guild entered CS when it signed a women’s roster back in March. But with the Bad News Eagles roster signing, Guild now has a presence in the men’s CS scene as well.

What is The Guild Eagles Counter-Strike roster?

The Guild Eagles CS2 roster:

  • Flatron "juanflatroo" Halimi
  • Dionis "sinnopsyy" Budeci
  • Rigon "rigoN" Gashi
  • Genc "gxx-" Kolgeci

While the playing roster is filled with talent, there’s a significant amount of experience and talent in the coaching staff as well. Here’s the coaching lineup for The Guild Eagles.

  • Jonatan "Devilwalk" Lundberg (coach)
  • Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend (assistant coach)
  • Kieran "KayJay" Playfair (assistant coach)

The team also has Jonatan "Devilwalk" Lundberg as their Head Coach. A former CS:GO player, Devilwalk has immense experience coaching several tier-one teams including the likes of Fnatic, FunPlus Phoenix, and more. Joining him are kRYSTAL and KayJay. KRYSTAL is a veteran German player who has been with the Bad News Eagles since March this year as their coach.

The Bad News Eagles roster has been without organizational support for almost two years since their inception. Despite the lack of organizational support, the roster has managed to attend three Majors. Going up against some of the best and most resourceful rosters in the scene, Bad News Eagles were able to reach the Legends stage in all three Majors.

The team will make its debut under their new org at the CCT 2023 Online Finals 4. It is a $200,000 online CS2 tournament that features sixteen teams competing in a double-elimination bracket. You can catch all the action live on Twitch.
