Astralis has announced two new player signings for its CS2 roster. One day after the team’s early elimination from the BLAST Premier Fall Finals, Astralis announced the signing of jabbi and stavn. Both players were previously on Heroic.

Astralis signs two Heroic players

Danish powerhouse Astralis have signed jabbi and stavn to their CS roster. The duo will replace Johannes "b0RUP" Borup and Christian "Buzz" Andersen. B0RUP and Buzz are now free agents and can explore their potions in the ongoing CS2 roster shuffle.

Heroic had already benched the duo due to a breach of trust. The duo were allegedly involved in conversations with Astralis without informing Heroic.

The past few months have been been very turbulent and uncertain, so I am thrilled to have my future in CS2 secured with Astralis.

Martin "stavn" Lund

The duo have been an integral part of the Heroic roster helping them through many championship wins. The team won BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2022. They came second-best at IEM Katowice and IEM Rio 2023. They won the BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2023 earlier this year as well as a top four finish at Gamers8 2023.

I'm really looking forward to start practicing CS2 in a team environment, and hopefully the boys can help me and Martin get up to speed.
