Team Vitality enters Austin as the overwhelming favorites with 24 teams embarking on a Major journey in Texas this June. Vitality's streak is special — seven straight trophies and 30 series wins in a row — but the major is another beast altogether.
Reigning major champs Spirit, second-best MOUZ, superteam Falcons, and a FaZe Clan bolstered by Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyljev are all hot on Vitality's heels. Challengers The MongolZ and Aurora will also be vying for a top eight finish and are dark horses for a deep run this month, while Natus Vincere are hoping they saved their best for last after a slow 2025.
Teams were either invited via Valve Regional Standings or qualified through the regional qualifiers for the Austin Major, with the top eight heading straight to Stage 3's Swiss bracket, the next eight starting in Stage 2, while the qualifiers all open their accounts in Stage 1.
