Ohio State and Michigan square off the gaming world in the Progressive Rivalry Series before they face off this week on the football field.
Ohio State (OSU) and Michigan are set to face off in their 120th meeting on Nov. 30 in what is perhaps the biggest rivalry in College Football. Before they take the field, the schools will bring their rivalry online as they face off in the Progressive Rivalry Series. Current student-athletes, star alumni, and gaming influencers representing the two schools will compete in EA Sports College Football 25 on Nov. 26.
Rivalry Series rematch
Ohio State and Michigan squared off in the inaugural Rivalry Series in 2022. The event took place on a custom Fortnite map and featured famed alumni such as Braxton Miller as well as college stars who are now in the NFL including CJ Stroud and Roman Wilson. Michigan, led by Fortnite streamer, Scoped, claimed the title of Rivalry Series Champion before winning the football game the following weekend.
Now, following a one-year hiatus, Ohio State and Michigan meet in the Progressive Rivalry Series in the first-ever rematch in the series. Many stars on both sides of the original matchup are returning alongside several new elite competitors. Ohio State will be eager for revenge while Michigan will be hoping to keep the title of Rivalry Series champions. Both schools will undoubtedly want to set the mood for Sunday’s football game by dominating in Tuesday’s gaming matchup.
