The newest Collection Event in Apex Legends, Techno Terror, introduces new holiday-themed content.

Spooky season has finally arrived in Apex Legends, as the annual Halloween Collection Event has been officially announced. Dubbed the Techno Terror Collection Event, the event is slated to introduce new cosmetics, a fan-favorite playlist, and some map changes.

There are also a couple of small updates for Apex Legends surrounding the Techno Terror event, which you can see below along with all of the details on the new Collection Event.

Apex Legends Techno Terror Collection Event content

There are three main pieces of content coming in the Techno Terror event that EA revealed on its Apex Legends blog. You can read about each piece of content below:

Trick N' Treat Trios

The first piece of content in the event is the return of the Trick N' Treat Trios playlist, which is a classic from years past. However, in Techno Terror, there are some new twists awaiting players.

For starters, the playlist is all about looting to find certain "sweets" that can aid you in a variety of ways. From giving you EVO Points, charging your Ultimate, or giving you shield health over time, you want to loot as many bins as possible in this playlist.

You can also find Copycat Kits in the playlist, which gives you access to an extra ability from a random character in Apex Legends. These abilities last until the end of the match in addition to your main legend's abilities.

E-District at Night

The E-District map has undergone some changes for the Trick N' Treat event. The map is now much grimier and dark than its previous, neon form.

The streets of the map have also been overrun with "cybernetic abominations" that you have to fight through. There are dangers awaiting you around every corner, so don't be surprised if there's a jump scare or two in store for you.

The Trick N' Treat Trios playlist will likely take place on the Night version of E-District as well.

Techno Terror Rewards

Finally, as expected, the Techno Terror event is chock-full of exclusive cosmetics you can purchase. The Store will also be updated with certain holiday-themed cosmetics.

As always, there are 24 cosmetics available to earn throughout the event. You can purchase the cosmetics directly with Apex Coins or Crafting Materials and you can open Techno Terror Apex Packs for a random event item. If you unlock all 24 Techno Terror event cosmetics, you'll earn Pathfinder's Prestige skin: "Apex Mecha," which includes the "A Blast from the Past" Finisher and "Block Party" Sky Trail.

In addition to the Collection Event, you can also participate in the Techno Terror Reward Stream. You're able to earn 1,400 Points per day by completing daily challenges, which in turn unlock exclusive rewards. The final reward for completing the entire Reward Stream is a clown skin for Mirage.

That does it for the entire Techno Terror event in Apex Legends. The event begins on Oct. 15 and ends on Nov. 4, so you have three weeks to earn all the available rewards.
