Team Falcons finally have their LAN win.
Team Falcons completed an incredible comeback, as they won the ALGS Open in just game six. They had to scrap and fight their way to the finals, playing a huge 18 games yesterday after falling into the elimination bracket at the event. They secured the win with an incredibly rare back to back wins in the finals lobby.
This win also returned Team Falcons to the pinnacle of Apex Legends esports, after a couple of shaky results in Year 4. This is the teams first LAN win since joining Team Falcons, finally living up to their super team tag.
Elsewhere, it was a familiar heartbreak for Alliance. The perennial runners up once again finished narrowly short, continuing the theme of the first team to Match Point being unable to close out the victory.
