Revenant is well and truly back in Apex Legends, with his pickrate surging.
The pick rate for Revenant has surged in Apex Legends following last weeks surprise patch. The assassin got a huge range of buffs, that included moving him from the Skirmisher to Assault Class in game.
Revenant has previously been very popular in the game, but his pick rate is now higher than at any point since the start of Season 18 when he got a total rework.
Huge buff sees Revenant apex pick rate soar
Revenant got three impactful changes in the recent apex patch notes.
Revenant
+ Legend class: Changed to Assault
Tactical:
- Minimum pounce velocity increased from 700 to 800, max velocity increased from 1150 to 1400
- Improved ground detection so guns are faster to come up
The most impactful change driving this spike in pick rate is the swap from Skirmisher to Assault Class. This gives Revenant access to several powerful perks. This includes extra ammo per slot, use of powerful Assault Bins and the ability to move faster when far away from teammates. These changes add a lot of power to Revenant without actually changing his abilities.
The boost to his leap is also nice and gives him some extra movement potential, letting him go very far across the map in a single leap.
The following data, taken from Apex Legends Status, shows the huge spike in pick rate for Revenant in Apex Legends.
