Ninjas in Pyjamas are in contention for the ALGS Pro League title after todays win.
Ninjas in Pyjamas took a big step towards the ALGS Midseason Playoffs, comfortably winning the final day of Pro League action in the Americas. They finished ahead of the likes of 100 Thieves, who posted a much improved performance after a tough run of matches over recent weeks.
While Team Falcons were not in action today, they will be delighted with the results today. Both NRG and Shopify Rebellion failed to post significant points. This means that Falcons will head into the Regional Finals as favourites to win the Pro League title. They currently sit level on points with NRG.
Ninjas in Pyjamas looking good ahead of ALGS Regional Finals
Ninjas in Pyjamas have been rapidly making progress after a post ALGS Open reshuffle. The addition of both Kurev and coach Raven gave the team new impetus, and they have steadily climbed their way up the overall standing over the last few weeks.
Now, they are potentially even in with a chance at taking home the Pro League title next weekend. They sit just seven overall points behind Falcons and NRG in fourth overall. The new for Year 5 Americas region is one of the most competitive in the games history. The performance of teams like Ninjas in Pyjamas show why this region is considered the best in the ALGS.

Teams book their spot in the ALGS Regional Finals
Team Orchid managed to sneak into the Regional Finals on a tiebreaker, narrowly beating out Forbidden Gaming. Luminosity also managed to book their spot with a 5th place finish today, with their top 20 spot far from guaranteed at the start of play today.
All eyes will of course be on that incredibly close top of the table. NRG, Falcons and Shopify Rebellion have all performed incredibly well across Split 1 and are deservedly neck and neck heading into the final day. Even teams as far back as 100 Thieves or TSM could snatch the title if things really went their way. Winning the Regional Finals earns 35 overall points, which is more than in a regular Pro League gameday.
