The organisation is parting ways with Bronzey, Enemy, Dezignful and Qzier a month early.
Disguised have announced they are dropping their Apex Legends roster. In an announcement posted on X, the organisation said it was releasing their players a month early, with their contracts set to expire at the end of October.
While Disguised have qualified for the upcoming ALGS Championship, this event is not taking place until the end of January. In addition, DSG player Enemy has already announced that he will be departing the team at the end of the ALGS season. iiTzTimmy left the organisation to join Moist Esports over the summer.
Disguised release Apex roster
Disguised announced the news on X, formerly Twitter. They shared the following statement:
"With the end of Split 2 and a long offseason ahead, we have decided not to renew our Apex players' contracts and will be releasing them a month early to allow them the opportunity to find a new home, either as a team or as individuals.
We want to extend our sincere thanks to The Dojo, Bronzey, Enemy, Dezignful, Qzier and iiTzTimmy for their hard work and dedication to DSG this year. We are deeply grateful for the love and support from the Apex community over the past year.
As we move towards Champs and the 2025 season, we are evaluating all our options."
Notably, the statement does not seem to indicate that Disguised will be exiting the ALGS and Apex Legends space. Disguised is one of the ALGS Year 4 partnered teams and get support from EA to maintain their roster.
However, the statement reads like Disguised did not qualify for the ALGS Championship. But the team finished in 16th overall in the Playoffs Points Ranking and comfortably booked their space at the season ending event.
With that said, Disguised did struggle at the Apex Esports World Cup event and failed to qualify for the ALGS Split 2 Playoffs. Furthermore, the roster was already set to break up at the end of the season. Enemy stated back in June that he does not plan to team with Dezignful after the end of the ALGS season.

Will the roster stay together?
The organisation also added in their statement that this early release is designed to help them find a new home "either as a team or as individuals."
This seems to leave open both the team staying together, or splitting up ahead of the ALGS Championship. The ALGS Championship is happening later than originally planned. As a result, there is a lot of time for teams to make roster changes ahead of the event. The poor performance from Disguised in the recent ALGS Split 2 Pro League might be a trigger for a shuffle amongst the team.
Finishing in 24th is way below what Disguised and the Apex Legends community expected from this roster. Roster rules around the Esports World Cup kept them together, but there is room for manoeuvre between now and January.
Several other teams are also set to make roster moves. Perhaps the most relevant to Disguised's former Apex team is BLEED and Complexity. Lou seems likely to depart Complexity and head to BLEED. This could create a vacancy perfect for Enemy to fill. He has often played with KIMCHILEE of Complexity in ranked and could slot in nicely to that team.
Bronzey indicates that roster will stay together
However, in his own statement on X, Disguised's former Apex coach Bronzey has indicated that the team are currently planning to stay together.
He also adds that Disguised are exiting Apex Legends. This seems to somewhat contradict the language in the organisation's own statement, but likely comes from internal information given to the team.
Bronzey's statement that the roster will continue to compete together would seem to rule out speculation that Enemy could join Complexity. While nothing is ever off the table, this is seemingly not something that is currently on the table. Instead, the team is currently seeking organisation opportunities as a complete package.
Time will tell exactly how everything shakes out with the roster. There are several rosters looking at changes, and as we've seen before in the ALGS, things can move and change very quickly.
