Apex Season 26 Patch notes winners:

Caustic is so back

Caustic is getting a big set of changes in the Apex Season 26 patch notes, with his gas now providing a direct counter to some of the movement abilities in the game. He will also have a new passive, that lets him perform research tasks in order to unlock an extra Legend Upgrade later in the game.

Ranked grinders

Ranked is so back in Apex Season 26. There are a range of changes designed to make Ranked feel a bit more like the ALGS. More at stake, better rewards, more teams alive in the final circles. This includes the removal of the drop ship, with new drop zones like the ALGS POI draft but random.

This could well be the most enjoyable ranked split to grind since Season 13, and also has some great adjustments for solo queue players too.

E-District enjoyers

Season 26 also sees the games newest map get a facelift. The lighting and skybox on E-District have totally changed. The map is now set in the daytime, showing off just how beautiful the map is. There has been some other adjustments to improve awareness and playability around the map.

Apex players wanting a fast paced match

If you're sometimes a bit bored of rotating, looting and looking for your next fight then the Apex Season 26 patch notes have just the brand new mode for you. Wildcard is permanent introduction to Apex Legends this season. The mode features wildcard abilities, and takes place on a modified Kings Canyon. You can even triple stack Legends in this mode!

Overall Wildcard is all about a fast paced, action packed game of Apex Legends. Play testers report that this game is incredibly fun - so dive in when Apex Season 26 releases.

Apex Season 26 Patch notes losers:

Ash and other movement Legends

Ash, Alter and others have been very dominant over the last season. The power creep of movement abilities is great to play, but not so fun to face. Now, in Season 26, we get a major counter thanks to the new abilities of Caustic gas. You get instantly grounded by Caustic gas, and he also drains the cooldown of movement abilities like the Ash dash.

Ranked griefers

The ranked changes are going to prevent those random teammates from hot dropping you in Fragment with seven other teams. The introduction of those new Drop Zones force you to land and loot - even if you are in solo queue. The reduced RP for kills and assists should also mean teams engage their brains a little more too.

Campers

Think that the buff to Caustic means that everyone will be camping in buildings this season? Think again! Bangalore is also getting a buff in the Apex Season 26 patch notes. If you choose the right Legend Upgrades, Bangalores Smoke Grenades can now also EMP deployables. That means you can totally clear a building of Caustic Gas Cannisters with a single smoke, ready to breach that position.
