Apex Legends Season 28 mid-season patch notes

In terms of legends updates, Apex Legends Season 28 midcycle includes changes to Gibraltar, Wraith, and Wattson. According to EA, Gibraltar’s buffs improve his mobility and defenses after falling behind in pick rate. His kit now has faster resets and more flexible upgrades as well.

“With a new passive that will allow him to traverse and rotate quicker, some quality-of-life updates to his base kit and some meaningful upgrades to let you choose your playstyle,” EA explained, referring to the legend’s new Momentum Boost passive. “The Dome of Protection has become easier and easier to push these days so we wanted to give Gibraltar some better defenses and faster resets. We also wanted players to be able to upgrade into more versatility with his ultimate.”

As for Wraith, she gets major buffs to her base kit thanks to reduced cooldowns for both her tactical and ultimate. She also gets faster ultimate activation and upgrades that improve team utility. Wattson, meanwhile, gets unique ways to interact with Hardlight meshes.
