Apex Legends at ENC 2026 rules

Apex Legends Liquipedia manager Jasper "Kano" Jacobs made a post about the Apex Legends at ENC 2026 event. In the post, he reminded players of a few rules. According to Kano, players must have a valid citizenship of at least one year before locking in, and players with dual nationalities must only choose one of them.

There's also a maximum of two players from the same team on a roster, Kano added. This rule may prove interesting since it forces established teams to mix players. It may also create unpredictable matchups while making the esports action more exciting for viewers.

Apex Legends at ENC teams

Of the 40 Apex Legends teams, 20 of them will be direct invites based on the aforementioned ALGS Championship Points. Next, 18 teams will be determined through the online regional qualifiers. There will also be two wildcard slots.

Many players in the Apex Legends community responded positively to the announcement. These players included Phillip "ImperialHal" Dosen from Team Falcons and Lertpong "Dexter" Nakurai from Gen.G Esports. While ImperialHal expressed excitement about bringing the gold to America, Dexter cheered for Thailand.
