Who can book their spot?
While focus might already be on Los Angeles, there is still some ALGS competition before we head to the Split 1 Playoffs. The ALGS Pro League Qualifiers are taking place this weekend, with the finals on Sunday, April 21.
This event will decide which eight (or more) teams qualify for the second split of each regions Pro League. The bottom eight teams from Split 1 were relegated, and were met by the best 22 teams from the Challenger Circuit.
The ALGS Pro League Qualifiers use the match point format for their finals. That makes Sunday's action an incredibly intense affair. Who can book their spot in Pro League Split 2?
ALGS Pro League Qualifiers: EMEA
In EMEA, team Danish (formerly EXO Clan) lead the way on advanced starting points. They are one of the teams relegated into the Pro League Qualifiers and seem well placed to return to the ALGS Pro League.
Elsewhere, ShivFPS might also return back to the top tier of Apex Legends. With Xerrifer and new teammate Gxnjy, they start as dark horses with a single advanced starting point.
