Stuck not knowing which healing spec to play in Season 1? Here are the best performing specs in M+.
Season 1 of The War Within has begun, and we are starting to see what specs people are bringing to M+ to help craft the current season's meta. We have compiled this tier list based on what healer specs we are seeing in to the top M+ runs.
Please note, just like the tank and DPS lists, this is not final, and will change throughout the season based on dungeon hot-fixes, class changes, gear scaling, etc.
Remember that at the end of the day, gear and skill matter more than just bringing the top spec. As many of us have seen, a great player on a B-Tier spec will always outperform a subpar player on an S-Tier spec.
S-Tier M+ Healer in Season 1
- Restoration Shaman
This season starts out with Restoration Shamans standing a top of the mountain as the sole S-Tier spec. Their great healing numbers right now combined with their capacity to provide significant utility through tools like Capacitor Totem, Wind Shear, and Bloodlust, suggest that they are likely to maintain their high position for some time.

Honestly, there are no bad healers or ones that people don't want to bring to keys this season. With the exception of Shamans dominating the meta, we are seeing a good mix of every other class so far this season. Later in the season, we should see both Priest specs fall more to the back-end of the A-Tier due to their lack of a poison dispel, but don't see any real falloff after that.
