Tekken 8 is a mini-game that puts you and your opponent in a unique battle. First released with Tekken 3 in 1998, the game mode made a comeback with Tekken Tag Tournament and now in Tekken 8.
The goal of the game is to defeat your opponent in one of two ways. You can either land the ball in your opponent’s area of the court or directly hit your opponent with the ball. Either of these two outcomes means you will have won.
- Land the ball in the opponent’s court
- Hit your opponent with the Ball
There are further nuances to Tekken ball. For example, you can change the pace and strength of the ball by charging it. The more charge a ball contains, the faster it moves and the more damage it deals. At maximum charge, the ball will appear as if on fire. If the ball hits an opponent while fully charged, it will burn the opponent as well.
